Nothing quite like being 3 or 4 meters from a pride of nine lions in an open vehicle. Particularly when one of them is having a bad day. My only regret is not shooting tighter. Wont take a big blow up I dont think.

Greta expression from the lioness, unfortunately, there are so many distracting elements in the background, which you obviously couldn't avoid. However, to create striking animal portraits,capturing a snarl is not quite enough to make it stand out against the millions of other photos shot by tourists on safari.
