This was taken while in Israel 2 weeks ago. He was unaware of me taken the shot, but I couldn't let the moment go.

Great shot! Having been a "lone soldier" many moons ago I can relate to the emotion, loneliness and longing.....

I'm suppose to crit the two images to the immediate right of my own image.  I'm not qualified to even open my mouth on such a magnificent photo capturing the solitary mood only a soldier can feel.  Well done.

This image grabbed my attention... The moment between man and dog overlooking the valley and the juxtaposition of the peaceful moment is juxtaposed against his arms. A very well deserved feature!
